Missoula Outdoors is a club and community of people of all ages and of all origins that hosts outdoor events like hiking trips and river floats lead by local organizers! We are an inclusive group! Everyone is welcome!

Lunchtime Walk and Float on the Clark Fork River
Wednesday August 5th 12 PM
Meet at the M Trail Trailhead
What to expect:
- Hosted by Luke Hayduk of Bitterroot Backpacking
- Walk 1.5 miles up the Kim Williams Trail, then float/paddle 1.5+ miles back down the Clark Fork to the dog park.
~1 hr 15 min total: About 25 min walking, 5–10 min inflating, 30–35 min floating, and 5–10 min back to the cars.
- Bring a lightweight watercraft: Packrafts, inflatable SUPs, or tubes are welcome. Bring a paddle! Ask us about packraft rentals
- Come prepared: Wear comfortable clothing, bring sunscreen, and consider a hat and sunglasses. Bring your own water, lunch, and snacks—we'll eat along the river.
Dudes Hike to Canyon Lake

Meet at the Canyon Creek Trailhead at 9:30 am
What to expect:
- Hosted by Luke Hayduk
- This hike is for anyone who wants to help raise awareness for Men's mental health, is a Man who wants to improve their mental health, or is a friend/ally of men who want to raise awareness and improve their mental health.
- 10 mi with 2660 ft of elevation gain.
- Will have a fast a slow hiking group.
- Planning to spend at least 1 hr at the lake. Will bring at least 1 packraft.
- Fishermen and fisherwomen are welcome!
